Patriarch Shamash

I finally took a character all the way through Hell difficulty in Diablo II. This is the first character I have ever finished (by which I mean beating everything on all difficulties). Shamash was not originally going to be my first character to reach the rank of Patriarch. My first character after getting the game with the expansion (I played the game without the expansion years ago) was Oberon, a druid, which I took through Nightmare difficulty. He might eventually make it through Hell, but because he's a werewolf and focuses entirely on melee for damage, he needs some better equipment and he's a bit underpowered because I had less of an idea of what to do then. The next character I created was either Artemis, my amazon or Set_Stardust, my necromancer on Battlenet that I made in order to team up with my brother (we would have done open characters, but he couldn't figure out how and I thought at the time that he just wasn't able to for some reason, but whatever). Then I made Master, my necromancer and Shamash, both of whom played entirely on /players8 in order to level up faster. Master was going to be the one I took through Hell first, but I found out that in the next patch, Blessed Hammer, the skill Shamash uses, will no longer ignore resistances and immunities. Because of that, I focused on finishing Shamash first.
It was pretty easy because Hammerdins are broken. The only parts of Hell that were particularly tricky were Nihlathak with his stupid corpse explosion/snakes of death and the Ancients. So hopefully, now that this is done, I won't waste all my time playing this game so much anymore. Nah, I probably still will. After all, I haven't done a sorceress, barbarian, or assassin yet...
